This week’s WWW is filled with simple, beautiful ways to refresh your home for the season ahead. You’ll find easy decorating ideas, fresh flower inspiration, and classic touches like blue and white that always feel right this time of year.
There’s a strong thread running through everything I’m sharing today, keeping things uncomplicated, using what you love, and adding natural elements that make your home feel fresh and inviting. From quick room updates and front door ideas to pretty finds, recipes, and a peek at summer style, it’s all about creating a home that feels calm, collected, and ready for the season.
I think you’ll find something here that inspires you to make even a small change that makes a big difference.

1. DECORATING WITH CHAMOMILE: This little flower is one of the most affordable ways to bring a natural, cottage feel into your home (no, it’s not just for tea), and I’m sharing all my favorite ways to use it including fresh in a vase, dried in bundles, and even simmering on the stove.
2. COZY TIP OF THE WEEK: May is window cleaning month at our house (not my favorite task but it’s one of those things that needs to be done). I ditched the Windex years ago and now use these microfiber cloths with nothing but water, and our windows come out completely streak free every single time.
3. AMAZON FINDS: Shop cozy finds I’m loving on Amazon.
4. LITTLE THINGS I’M LOVING:

5. FROM MY KITCHEN TO YOURS: If there’s one recipe that shows up at every summer cookout around here, it’s my calico baked beans. A family favorite for over 20 years, once you taste it, you’ll understand why!
6. UPDATING MY WARDROBE:

8. OVER ON THE ‘GRAM: My friends have been asking me how to decorate their homes with red, white, and blue without it looking tacky, so I sent this to the group chat.

9. CULINARY CORNER: Lemon Chicken Orzo: Heat 2 TBS olive oil in a large skillet. Salt and pepper 1 pound bite-sized chicken. Cook about 5 minutes until lightly browned. Add 3 cloves minced garlic and 1 tsp dried oregano; cook 30 seconds. Stir in 2 cups chicken broth and 1 cup orzo; cover and simmer 8 to 10 minutes until tender. Stir in 1/2 cup heavy cream, juice, and zest of 1 lemon; cook 2 minutes. Add 2 cups spinach, if using, to wilt. Finish with parsley or basil.
10. THE LAST WORD: The number one reason a room feels “off” is visual noise, too many things competing for attention. Edit back what you see and let one or two pieces shine. Your room will instantly look calmer and so much more beautiful.
ANSWERS TO #7: A group of bunnies is called a fluffle. There are over 700 ancient Egyptian hieroglyphic symbols. Now you know.

1. FAVORITE STYLING MOMENT: My focus lately is this fireplace that sits directly across from our kitchen table lately. I’ve been tweaking and playing, but you can see that it’s incomplete – two different sized greenery orbs, a missing something or other to go into the container, and so on. I’m not even sure that I’m happy with the arrangement at all.
2. EASY DECORATING TIP OF THE WEEK: Add a small stool or garden seat to a corner of your home or porch. It can serve as a side table, plant stand, or extra seating and adds charm without taking up much space.
3. DID YOU KNOW: Did you know that adding a small vase of fresh greenery from your yard can brighten a room just as much as store-bought flowers? Sometimes the prettiest arrangements are the simplest.
4. FAVORITE RECENT PURCHASE: You can’t go wrong with a good, basic white container. This one, which is similar to what I currently have on my dining room table, is so pretty! Find all of my purchased and loved decorating, gadget, and organizing favorites HERE .
5. LOVELY LIVING AND BEYOND: Freshen one small corner of your home. A new candle, a bowl of lemons, or a sprig of greenery can make an everyday space feel renewed.
6. READER QUESTION OF THE WEEK: “What’s the secret to making a small space feel larger and brighter?” See #10 for the answer!
