1. NO TRICKS, JUST TREATS: You know Halloween is not my favorite holiday, but Halloween treats? A completely different story. These ghost Peep s’mores treat bags are adorable and can be made in minutes with ghost Peeps, a chocolate bar, graham crackers, and a cellophane bag tied with ribbon. There’s also a printable gift tag for you!

2. COZY TIP OF THE WEEK: It’s okay to change your mind when it comes to decorating your home. Just because you loved something when you bought it doesn’t mean you have to keep it forever. Our homes are always evolving and so are our tastes. Sometimes a small change like swapping a light fixture or replacing a piece you’ve outgrown is all it takes to make a space feel fresh and right again.

3. AMAZON FINDS: Shop cozy finds I’m loving on Amazon.

4. LITTLE THINGS I’M LOVING:

  • This was last week’s bestseller. And I totally understand why!
  • We changed the pendant lights above our kitchen island to these ones. (You can see them in our kitchen in #8.)
  • Cozy Christmas towels for your bathroom. LOVE the prints and all under $15.
  • This framed swan art is absolutely gorgeous and you won’t believe the price.
  • LOVE this glass candy dish, can be used for so much more than candy.
  • I grabbed this faux arrangement for Christmas. This one is beautiful too.

5. FROM MY KITCHEN TO YOURS: Even this non-Halloween girl can’t resist these mummy-shaped Rice Krispie treats. You only need five ingredients and the kids can help drizzle on the white chocolate bandages and press in the chocolate chip eyes.

6. UPDATING MY WARDROBE:

  • When I don’t feel like styling my hair, this cap has been a lifesaver.
  • I had to have this sweater as soon as I saw it, IYKYK.

1. FAVORITE STYLING MOMENT: While decorating for fall this year, I’ve really focused on using what I already have. It has been such a treat to reimagine my old decor in a new space!

2. EASY DECORATING TIP OF THE WEEK: Create a more collected fall look by mixing seasonal pieces with your everyday decor instead of removing everything and starting over. A small pumpkin tucked beside a favorite lamp, bowl, or stack of books feels natural and keeps your home looking like you.

3. DID YOU KNOW: Did you know that you don’t have to wait until the first frost to bring tender houseplants back indoors? Moving them inside before nighttime temperatures get too chilly gives them an easier adjustment to their winter home.

4. FAVORITE FIND FROM LAST WEEK: This pretty footed bowl has been a huge hit on my LTK channel this week and it’s only $25!

5. LOVELY LIVING AND BEYOND: October is a wonderful month to check in on someone who might appreciate a little extra kindness. Drop off a treat, send a handwritten note, or simply make the phone call you’ve been meaning to make.

6. READER QUESTION OF THE WEEK: “My home is decorated for fall, but something still feels unfinished. What might be missing?” See #10 for the answer!

9. HOME HACK: Slip a paint roller onto a broom handle for hard-to-reach dusting
A clean, dry paint roller attached to an extension handle can quickly pick up dust and cobwebs from high walls and ceilings without dragging out the ladder.

10. ANSWER TO READER QUESTION (#5):  Take a look at your lighting. As the days get shorter, lamps become an important part of how a room feels. Turn on several smaller lamps instead of relying on overhead lighting, and make sure darker corners have a little glow. Warm, layered lighting can make all of your fall colors and textures look richer and cozier.
