On the Menu 4th Week Of February
Plan your week with 48 mix-and-match recipes, including cozy comfort foods, fresh seasonal favorites, easy sides, and a delicious treat your family will love.

Need dinner ideas? This week’s On The Menu is filled with cozy, comforting dinners, easy sides, fresh salads, and a sweet treat you’ll definitely want to make. If you’re looking for a week of dependable, delicious meals your family will actually love, you’re in the right place.
We are still very much in soup and comfort food season, and I am not quite ready to give that up. There is something about a pot of chili simmering or a creamy pasta on the table that feels just right on a chilly evening. This week has plenty of those warm, satisfying meals that make your kitchen feel like the heart of your home.
But I can also feel the tiniest hint of spring peeking in. A bundle of fresh asparagus, a beautiful piece of salmon, a squeeze of lemon here and there. Those lighter, brighter flavors are starting to call my name. So this menu gives you the best of both worlds, cozy winter comfort with a gentle little nod toward the fresh days ahead.
Let’s see what’s on the menu this week…
Monday- Slow Cooker Soup Day
There is nothing better than starting the week with a big pot of soup. Monday just feels like the perfect day for something warm, easy, and comforting. And this White Chicken Chili never disappoints.
This Crockpot White Chicken Chili is one of the most loved soups on StoneGable, and once you make it, you’ll understand why. It is creamy without being heavy and full of that delicious Tex Mex flavor we all love. The best part is that the slow cooker does most of the work for you.
It is supposed to rain here this weekend, so I am making a big batch on Saturday and planning to enjoy it again on Monday. I love cooking once and serving twice. And honestly, this chili tastes even better the next day after all those flavors have had time to settle in.
Set out bowls of toppings and let everyone build their own. I always include tortilla chips, sliced avocado, sharp cheddar, and a big squeeze of fresh lime. It turns a simple soup night into something that feels a little special.
And you absolutely need a piece of Sweet Cream Corn Cornbread on the side. It starts with a simple box mix, but a few little additions make it extra moist and just slightly sweet. It is perfect for dipping into that creamy chili.

Tuesday- Easy Dinner
Tonight’s Parmesan Chicken Rolls are one of those easy dinners that feel a little fun and a little different. Wrapping crescent rolls around seasoned chicken makes them golden, flaky, and so satisfying. It is a quick weeknight meal that still feels special enough to look forward to.
I am serving them with a chopped salad filled with ditalini pasta, bacon, and feta, all tossed in a slightly sweet Parmesan dressing. It is hearty, fresh, and the perfect follow up to Monday’s cozy soup.

Portillo’s Chopped Salad
Wednesday- Perfect Mid-Week Main Dish
Tonight feels like a little midweek treat. I love pan-fried cod because it is light, flaky, and so easy to cook. This citrus basil butter sauce is bright and fresh, just the little nudge toward spring we are starting to crave.
I am pairing it with garlicky Israeli couscous and lemon-roasted broccoli. The flavors work so well together, fresh, savory, and just comforting enough. It is an easy dinner that feels just a bit special in the middle of the week.

Thursday- Pasta Night
Bobby will be very happy when he walks in and smells this pasta on the stove. Pasta really is his love language, and this creamy sun-dried tomato sauce makes the whole kitchen feel cozy and inviting. It is rich, flavorful, and one of those dinners that feels like a treat even on an ordinary weeknight.
Since creamy dishes love a little balance, I am serving it with my favorite arugula salad tossed in a bright lemon vinaigrette. That fresh pop of lemon keeps everything from feeling too heavy and makes the whole meal taste just right.

Friday- Family Heritage Dish
Tonight’s dinner is one of my heritage recipes, the kind that has been made in our family for generations. Nani’s Sauteed Chicken is simple, comforting, and full of flavor. It is one of those dishes that reminds me why the best recipes are often the ones passed down with love. We literally crave this recipe. It reminds me of my Nani.
I always serve it with mashed potatoes so they can soak up that delicious sauce, and a side of roasted asparagus. It is a cozy, classic Friday dinner that never goes out of style.

Saturday- Company Worthy
Tonight we are having baked Dijon salmon, and it feels like the perfect bridge between winter and spring. Salmon is one of my favorite easy dinners. It bakes beautifully, tastes fresh and bright with lemon, and feels just a bit special without much effort at all.
I am serving it with mushroom rice and a bacon Brussels sprouts salad. The warm, savory rice and the crisp salad make this meal hearty enough for a chilly evening, but light enough to remind us that spring is on its way.

Sunday- Family Meal
I am making these seared pork chops again because we loved them so much the first time. The center-cut, bone-in chops are full of flavor, but it is really the sauce that makes this dinner shine. A creamy caper sauce with wonderful aromatics takes these pork chops to the next level.
I am serving them with cheesy garlic polenta and sautéed green beans. It is a cozy, company-worthy kind of meal and the perfect way to gather around the table and end the week well.

Sweet Treat Of The Week- From A Box Mix
I love a dessert that starts with a cake mix and turns into something completely irresistible. These cake mix cookie bars are one of those easy wins. A few simple ingredients, a quick stir, and you have a pan of soft, chewy bars that taste like you fussed far more than you did.
They are perfect for an afternoon treat, a little something after dinner, or to share with friends. Simple, sweet, and always a hit.

These recipes look wonderful and I am going to try them. I was wondering if you have any recipes for two?
Patricia
Hi Patricia, I don’t because when I make dinner for just Bobby and me I love leftovers for lunches. I also freeze them have a an easy dinner when I don’t feel like cooking.
Just two words: Oh My!!!
Those Southern Cheese Crackers are the best! Every time I make them for a gathering, friends are seeking me out to tell me how much they love them. One mom brought her 3 year old daughter over to tell me she loved them! They’re simple to make and you can roll the dough into a log and refrigerate it for a couple day (or freeze it longer) before you slice and bake them. I’ve also baked then frozen them and they’re just as tasty.
We love Nana’s chicken. It’s an easy recipe to make & comes out perfect following your directions. It’s so good, including left overs, if there is any.. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
