1. FAVORITE STYLING MOMENT: This casserole dish has been in use every Thanksgiving for twenty years. I love making it a part of my fall decor!

2. EASY DECORATING TIP OF THE WEEK: Don’t overlook the inside of a glass-front cabinet as a decorating opportunity. Arrange pretty dishes, serving pieces, or collectibles so that different heights and shapes are visible through the doors. It turns practical storage into part of the room’s decor.

3. DID YOU KNOW: Did you know that pinecones can close their scales when the air is damp and reopen when conditions are dry? It’s a natural way of protecting their seeds until the weather is better for dispersing them.

4. FAVORITE FIND FROM LAST WEEK: My granddaughter is decorating her primary bedroom and chose this beautiful comforter set. I am trying to come up with a place for it at my house too. Currently on major sale!

9. CULINARY CORNER: Easy Butternut Squash and Spinach Pasta Bake: Preheat oven to 400°F. Roast 3 cups frozen butternut squash cubes until soft; reduce oven to 375°F. Cook 12 oz. large rigatoni pasta per directions and drain. Mix pasta, squash, 2 cups fresh spinach, 1½ cups ricotta, and 2 cups Alfredo or béchamel sauce; season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
