1. FAVORITE STYLING MOMENT: Just in time for spring weather and after months of construction our new deck and screen porch are finally complete. I’m still in decorating mode, but this has definitely where I’ve been spending every spare moment of my day!

2. EASY DECORATING TIP OF THE WEEK: Refresh your sofa for spring by mixing in one or two lighter colored pillows with your existing ones. Soft blues, greens, or florals can brighten a room without completely changing your decor.

3. DID YOU KNOW: Did you know early spring is a smart time to test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors? Many homeowners make it a habit when the seasons begin to change.

4. FAVORITE RECENT PURCHASE: This outdoor rug, that I ordered for our screen porch, comes in multiple sizes and is at a great price point! I think it would look great indoors as well. From decor, gadgets, organizing, and needlepoint – check out all my favorite Amazon purchases HERE.

5. LOVELY LIVING AND BEYOND: Take a short walk each afternoon. Even ten minutes outside can reset your mind and help you notice the quiet signs of spring returning.

6. READER QUESTION OF THE WEEK: “Spring is coming, but it still feels like winter outside. How can I start decorating for spring without it feeling too early?”See #10 for the answer!
