Add cooled spaghetti on top. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon McCormick Salad Supreme seasoning and 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1.) Last week I shared two reader favorites that are perfect for this time of year. First up are simple DIY citronella candles made in mason jars…easy to assemble and perfect for summer evenings outdoors. I’m also sharing a post all about painting your front door blue, a cheerful way to boost your curb appeal with just a can of paint.

.) AMAZON FAVORITES: if you missed any of my recent collections, you can catch up HERE. Included are kitchen items I own and love, my favorite neutrals, and summer finds of all kinds.

.) FAVORITE QUOTE: “Nature literally has the power to heal. By slowing down and letting yourself notice the smell, sound, and feel of nature, you become present, aware, and often experience less stress. You become unbusy.” ~Lettie Stratton

.) See how this family built a new house in Mississippi with old soul by including tongue-and-groove paneling and wide-plank floors milled from reclaimed pine beams. See all the details that contributed to the “new old house” look.

.) SPRING/SUMMER BESTSELLERS: I actually own all of these things and can highly recommend each one!

.) EASY SIDE DISHES FOR FAMILY MEALS: I’ve been making these Delmonico potatoes for 40 years, and they turn out perfect every time. These roasted vegetables are easy and so colorful, this vegetable gratin is perfect for summer, and this Jiffy corn casserole is a family favorite any time of year!

.) INSPIRING HOMES: tour this darling gardener’s cottage on a Regency estate in England, and then see how this charming 1920’s bungalow was updated, especially the cute kitchen.

.) Do you wish you could update your home without completely starting over? Begin by replacing one thing at a time, and a good place to start is with the lighting. When we moved into our current home, I replaced the pendant lights over the kitchen island…and it made such a big difference. Just that one thing completely changed the look and feel of our kitchen. Our lights are no longer available, but this one is very close. It also comes in oil rubbed bronze, and gorgeous brushed brass.

.) JUST UPDATED RECIPES:

.) That’s it for me. Have a lovely week! XO

Happy Wednesday, friends…
