Welcome To Wednesday Weekly Wish List #177

I’ve been conducting a poll on my Facebook page about what my Facebook readers would rather do after Thanksgiving dinner: take a walk or do the dishes. The comments are very interesting! What would you rather do? Friends, Thanksgiving is three weeks and one day away, and fall is fleeting! Let’s celebrate every single day! Do something like take a walk, connect with a loved one, or get inspired by reading a blog!

This week, we have packed WWW with our best ideas and love! I’m featured first this week…

10. CULINARY CORNER: High Protein Roasted Cream of Mushroom Soup—Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Fill a rimmed baking sheet pan with assorted mushrooms cut in half, half an onion sliced, and half a garlic clove in its papery outer peel. Drizzle everything with 2 TBS olive oil and salt and pepper. Roast for 30 minutes until mushrooms are brown. Put the mushrooms in a Dutch oven along with 3-4 cloves of the roasted garlic squeezed out of the outer peel, 4 cups of stock or bone broth (any flavor), 1 cup of cottage cheese, and a couple sprigs of thyme. Heat and puree the soup with an emulsion blender until smooth. Serve with a swirl of cream, and make extra roasted mushrooms to chop on top of the soup.

ANSWER TO #7: Glabella is the space between your eyebrows. The fifth finger or toe is called a minimus. Now you know.
