Orange has its place too, especially once pumpkin season arrives at the end of September and stretches through Thanksgiving. Pumpkins, real or faux, are one of the easiest decorating gifts of the whole season. If orange feels like a hard color for you to bring into your home, try a muted or burnt orange instead and pair it with blue and white. It softens the color while still feeling like fall. And if pumpkins are not your thing at all, you can still bring orange in through organics like branches, leaves, or dried florals.

They are real. 5 beautiful bushes line our front walk. The hydrangeas are called “Ruby Slippers”. They begin white and then get bright pink splotches on them (so interesting) that spread and then they become a beautiful red. They were ready to pick to dry, so I just put them in a basket.
