9. CULINARY CORNER: Leftover Easter Ham- Southern Ham Salad: Mix together 4 oz. room temperature cream cheese, 2 finely chopped green onions, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley, 1 tablespoon finely minced pimentos, 1 tablespoon sweet relish, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper in a medium bowl until well combined. Peonies in a blue and white pitcher

1.) This is the time of year when I find myself wondering how my garden on Sutton Place is doing…especially the peonies. Those beautiful bushes took a few years to produce big, full blooms, and along the way, I learned quite a bit. If your own peonies are just starting to break through the soil, now is the perfect time to take a look at these helpful tips for growing and caring for them.

2.) FEATURED AMAZON SHOP SECTION: the right tools make any job easier. That’s especially true when it comes to gardening. See my updated GARDEN TOOLS section for everything you need to make your gardening chores stress-free.

3.) FAVORITE QUOTE: “Anyone can show up when you’re happy. But the ones who stay by your side when your heart falls apart, they are your true friends.” ~A. A. Milne

4.) Small hallways can still have a big impact if you just give them a little TLC. Take a look at these 22 small hallway ideas that are big on style!

5.) SPRING INTO SUMMER FASHION FINDS:

6.) HOME TOURS: tour this Westchester home that’s the perfect marriage of classic charm and contemporary zest, with a ton of color thrown in. Then if you love white kitchens, you won’t believe this kitchen transformation that includes head-to-toe white and gorgeous hardware.

7.) NEW RECIPES:

  • Cooking for two can sometimes be a challenge. Many recipes make too much, and it’s easy to fall into a routine of the same simple meals. But this chicken and rice casserole is the perfect solution. It’s easy to prepare, and doesn’t leave you with a mountain of leftovers.
  • This no knead peasant bread recipe makes a smaller, more manageable loaf that’s ready in less than 4 hours. With a soft, airy texture and a golden, buttery crust, it’s perfect for any meal…no special equipment or kneading required.
  • This easy lemon ginger scones recipe combines two of my favorite flavors…lemon and ginger. Like most of the recipes I share, it checks all the boxes: it’s simple to make, uses basic pantry ingredients, and the results are absolutely delicious.

8.) Edible flowers have always fascinated me, and this year I’m finally exploring how to grow them. If you’re interested in adding beauty and flavor to your garden, these tips are a great place to begin.

9.) “EVERY ROOM NEEDS A TOUCH OF BLACK”

10.) I think it’s safe to say that winter has finally moved on, and spring is here to stay. I’m already looking ahead to the summer months, and I’ve got some fresh, new content in the works. I’ll be sharing it with you very soon! XO
