Right now, as I’m writing this, my little granddaughter, Bobby, and I are watching The Wizzard of Oz. We introduced this classic to her this spring, and when she comes to stay with us, she often asks to watch it. I remember in the old days when there was no such thing as on-demand movies, the Wizzard of Oz used to be shown once a year, and it was such a treat! Do you remember that, too?

I think we have a lot in common with Dorothy. Maybe we don’t have a dog named Toto or friends who are scarecrows, tin men, or lions. And hopefully, we aren’t being chased by a wicked witch and her flying monkeys. But Dorothy, you, and I love home!
