Two Delicious Recipes + Fall Porch + Paint Colors +Preserving Organics

Home Style Saturday, your weekend mini decorating and lifestyle magazine, features our most popular, updated, archived posts.

Welcome To Home Style Saturday #414

Today, I’m sharing one of my all-time favorite recipes: Raw Apple Cake. It tastes like fall! It’s dense, moist, and filled with apple and walnut flavors. It was the very first recipe I ever asked for. All these years later, I have the original recipe card in my recipe box. I hope you will try it. It’s a beloved and delicious part of our fall tradition, and I’m sure it will be part of yours, too.

We have so much to share! Ann is first…

  1. Beautiful colors! We recently had our interior repainted. I stuck with Sonnet but sure wish I had seen your Tapestry Beige before we had it done. Sonnet is reading too pinkish at times. You made great choices 🙂

  2. Love fresh apple cake. I too have made for years. thanks for reminding me of this delicious cake to enjoy in the fall!
